Such is life, is this life?

In order to graduate as an engineer, we have to work for a solid 800 hours, in an engineering related field. Great, there goes two summers, with or without income.

That summer I choose to work in Malaysia, and was lucky to land myself a job in one of the most reputable FMCG company in Kuala Lumpur.

It was only three months. But I've learnt many lessons about life. One of the most memorable..

There was a granny that I get to meet, I've seen her many times enough to know her for a bit. She's old, homelesss, and she especially love the sleeping space in front of this bank, because the floor seemed the most clean compared to all the other shops nearby. One of the most puzzling thing about her is that, there's always this white Eskimo dog next to her, following her wherever she goes. And although homeless, she never wanted anything from anyone passing by.

One day, days before I was due back. I approached her, "granny...", her eyes full of distrust, she tried to avoid me, not even eye contact. I told her it's okay.. and gave her what at the time was enough money to buy a few meals. She never really trusted me. She took the money, and walked away, with the white Eskimo puppy following her closely. She brought me to tears.
