Expect less, Gain more.
I always believe that I am not suited for the corporate life.
However, my first job landed me in a corporate environment of approx. 7,000 staffs, with a global network of approx. 75,000 staffs. After I quit, I insisted on getting what I want. So my very second job consist of a whooping 15 staffs. Yah, I win.
And guess where I end up after one big career roulette later?
Another corporate environment.
Until recently, I have decided to be jobless - Yah, I still win! (obviously pointless)
I think life has funny ways of giving you things that you don't want, or whacking you until you learn - classic saying, "people leave you when you think they will always be there, and people come into your life when you least expected it".
And so the saying goes - Expect less, gain more. Don't you just hate it.
